The Conger Family Cabin is available for all  family members to use. Please try to give at least 2 weeks advanced notice to schedule your time. Schedule your Date here

Alex Jr., Reed and AJ do our best to keep up on maintenance but if you notice things please let us know so we can stay up on things. It costs $215.00 per month just for Electricity to keep the cabin available year round, so please turn things off, except external security lights.

The cabin has 3 security cameras and it lets us know of comings and goings of those that should not be there. Please make sure that you dont unplug the cameras.

The following list is what dad and mom used over the years and I still like to follow it as close as possible.

YEAR ROUND

  • ALL windows shut, blinds down, curtains closed.
  • Fire place damper shut and fan off and ashes removed.
  • Shut off water to washer
  • Do NOT leave appliances running (dish washer, dryer, wash machine, TV.)
  • USE THE FACILITIES BUT CLEAN UP WHEN DONE
  • Sweep and vacuum if necessary
  • Please bring your own paper supplies when possible.
  • * As the cabin is a family place” not a motel” always wash the sheets and pillow cases and leave them folded on the foot of the beds you use. This is just common courtesy for the next family member coming to use our facility.

AFTER OCTOBER 1

Upstairs:

  • Door open at top of stairway. Lights and fans off, toilet flushed.

Downstairs:

  • Lower cupboards and drawers in kitchen open.
  • Cupboard under sink open.
  • Door to main floor bathroom open part way.
  • YOU BRING IT IN YOU TAKE IT OUT (GARBAGE, CLOTHING, UNUSED FOOD)

ON YOUR WAY OUT

  • DOORS LOCKED AND SCREEN PULLED SHUT.
  • BLOCKS IN WINDOWS.
  • Inside “LIGHTS OFF” Outside security lights on both ends of house and 3 car garage are to be left on. .

There is a lot of personal property so please be respectful and treat it as your own while here. Closets, dressers, and drawers are not to be disturbed or gone through.
